About the Department
In department of Food Packaging Technology CSIR-CFTRI Mysore, our research activities are mainly in the field bio-nano interface with packaging, active packaging system, O2 absorber, antimicrobial packaging, intelligent packaging, shelf life studies and prediction. Processing of Packaged Foods - Food Packaging, Thermal Processing, Hurdle Technology, REPFED Technology, Canning, Retort Pouch. Application of nanomatetrials in food packaging and food safety.
